Crittenton: Capital Campaign
Crittenton is a nationally accredited behavioral health and child welfare nonprofit with more than 50 years of experience serving the most vulnerable system-involved children, youth, and families. We had the honor of sitting down with multiple staff, program alumni, and board members to support their capital campaign. Crittenton’s programs save the lives of girls who have been abused, neglected, victimized by the system, and find themselves lost and forgotten. Most of the time the pregnant young girls and teens that find themselves at Crittenton, the pregnancy is the least of their problems. This non-profit takes girls in, rehabilitates, cares for, educates, and supports the client and their baby.
When asked to interview such a diverse set of staff, board members, and alumni, we decided it would be best to utilize multiple interview sets around Crittenton’s beautiful new facility. We captured interviews and supporting footage over the course of a week. Our crew was small but mighty. We had to be quick to setup and tear down multiple interview sets in the course of a day. It was tedious, but more than worth it for the end result. Crittenton used this video to encourage donors to give to their capital campaign and it was a success! They were also able to utilize social media to pull several powerful clips from this longer form video. As a team, we made the content stretch to maximize reach and effectiveness.
